Ruben Zadigan Study Abroad Scholarship

 

The Ruben Zadigan Study Abroad Scholarship are available to Environmental Studies majors taking classes elsewhere (e.g. Study Abroad) or taking high expense classes at KU. The scholarship may provide up to $2,000 in financial support of undergraduate study abroad opportunities and several scholarships are awarded each year. All Environmental Studies Program majors planning to study abroad are encouraged to apply.

 

The eligibility requirements for the scholarship are:

  • Must be an Environmental Studies Program major, AND
  • Must be actively enrolled in courses at KU, AND
  • Must be enrolled in a related EVRN course (>300, including Independent Study for at least 1 credit hour, 3 credit hours preferred)

  1. Short Essay: In about 500 words, detail how the study abroad trip relates to your area of study within Environmental Studies.
