Submissions are reviewed on a bi-weekly basis by members of the Strong Hall Team (I&B) within the Office of Civil Rights & Title IX (OCRTIX). After a decision is made, payments can take anywhere from two to five weeks to be completed. Incomplete request forms result in longer processing times. Thus, we suggest completing this form as far in advance as possible and providing detailed answers to help the Funding Review Committee make their decision. Ultimately, your request may be fully funded, partially funded, or your request may be denied.

Beginning in Fall 2024, OCRTIX will not be able to provide individual professional development funding. We suggest that you explore additional funding sources, including but not limited to: Student Senate funding, Staff Senate funding, LaunchKU, Pepsi Funding, The College DEI Development Fund, Rosalie Lanier Gray KU Staff Assistance Fund, and more. Please note that these funding sources are not applicable to every situation and applicants should review the specific program criteria before applying.
