Thank you for your interest in The Project for Innocence. The Project focuses on working with clients, case investigation, and writing court filings within the criminal justice system.
Law school graduation requirements:
Enrollment in the Project fulfills either Professional Writing or Experiential Learning requirements. Criminal Procedure is a pre or co-requisite of the Project unless you are applying for the summer session.
Time commitment:
The Project for Innocence requires, in addition to class, a minimum time commitment of twelve to fifteen (12-15) hours per week in the fall and spring, and twenty-five (25) hours per week in the summer. You will also be asked to attend a Boot Camp before the beginning of the semester. Please apply only if you are willing to devote your full energies to your clients' needs. You will be notified of acceptance and the date of Boot Came prior to enrollment. If you are accepted, you will be asked to sign statements of 1) intent to enroll in the Project 2) conflict of interest and 3) confidentiality.
At the end of this survey, you will be asked to attach your resume and unofficial law school transcript.
