Provider Technology Solutions Survey
Introduction
Technology advancements and innovations are developing at an unprecedented pace and the growing ubiquity of mobile technology, wearables, and sensors permeate our daily routines and rhythms. However, adoption and applications of technology for the communities of people with disabilities, aging adults, and their families is just beginning to gain momentum. States and local providers are using technology solutions creatively to address unique support needs, increase organizational efficiencies, and promote meaningful participation, social inclusion, self-determination, and quality of life.
The Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs, Office of Long-Term Living, Temple University, and the University of Kansas have established the PA Technology Accelerator, a series of activities intended to support PA in becoming the next Technology First State. As a Technology First State, programs and policies are modernized and harmonized to ensure seamless deployment and training on innovative technology solutions. Providers play a critical role in achieving this goal. The following survey will provide critical information to build and enhance programs to ensure providers have the necessary information and tools to advance access to technology solutions for their clients across the Commonwealth. Data will be analyzed in aggregate form and no personally identifiable information will be included in the results.
