Access to the Department Module of the Parking eBusiness Portal allows departments to purchase visitor permits and garage parking for their guests.


After you submit this form, a KU Parking representative will contact you regarding your specific needs and a training session. Training is required prior to granting access to the departmental portal.

The Department will be responsible for the appropriate use of all visitor permits and garage parking. However, Vehicle Owner/Operator will be responsible for any tickets issued to their vehicle
No permits/parking may be purchased for or used by any KU faculty, staff, or student, regardless of funding source. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Invoices will be sent a minimum of once per month. Permits must be canceled before visitor arrives in order to not be invoiced. Physical permits may no longer be canceled on the same day they are valid.
Digital visitor permits are read using License Plate Recognition (LPR), and a ticket may be issued if a license plate is entered incorrectly.
I understand that Parking & Transit staff will monitor our usage of Visitor Permits and the Department Portal and that any irregularities or misuse may result in suspension of our access to the Department Portal.
The Department will immediately notify Parking & Transit if any employee with Department Portal access leaves their employment there.
The Department will be responsible for any unauthorized purchases.
