Deadline for submission of application and supporting materials is April 30

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following qualifications:  

1.  Must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student in the CEAE Department at the University of Kansas.
2.  Must be a U.S. citizen
3. Must be at least 22 years old, and have returned to school after (1) working full time or (2) or serving in the military.
4. Must be classified as a junior or senior during the time of the award with a GPA of 2.5 or higher in the previous semester after returning to school
5. Your application must include verification of enrollment and GPA from the KU School of Engineering.

Preference will be given to students who have one or more of these experiences:

• Have served in the military
• Are married
• Have work experience in construction or surveying
•  Are active in the concrete canoe or steel bridge projects
• Are receiving student loan
