PHOTO RELEASE AND PARTICIPATION WAIVER

In return for participating in the KU School of Engineering High School Design activities (“Activities”) offered at and conducted by the University of Kansas, I agree:

1. I release Kansas University, the Kansas Board of Regents, the KU School of Engineering, and their respective employees, agents, officers and contractors (“KU”) from any and all claims, rights, causes of action, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys, that may happen to or affect me because of participating in this event or traveling to or from it.

2. I authorize KU to take, use and archive images and recordings of me alone or with other people or objects, including my participation in the Activities (the “Images”).

3. I authorize KU to use the Images free of charge at any time in the future in magazines, websites, commercials, social media and any other marketing or informative materials. KU shall own all rights, including the copyright to all such Images.

4. This Release is governed by Kansas law.
