When reviewing extenuating circumstance submissions, the appeal committee looks at these factors:
  • The credibility of the circumstances, including supporting official or objective documentation provided; 
  • The time-frame of the circumstances including defined start and end dates; and
  • The connection between the described circumstances and the student's academic performance.
